Uses

TEPA Is an organic multiconstituent substance. It is formed of various components and has amine, amide and imidazoline functions in different portions. These substances may be derived from the result of a chemical reaction between tall oil fatty acids, dimerized fatty acids and polyethylene polyamines. TEPA is considered a UVCB substance (i.e.: a substance of unknown or variable composition or biological materials). Tetraethylenepentamine is mostly used as an intermediate for the synthesis of coatings and auxiliaries and plastics and auxiliaries. Again, as an intermediary, TEPA is employed in the processes of synthetic rubber and rubber chemicals and for lubricants and antifreeze. TEPA is part of the auxiliary products necessary to the recovery and processing of oil, coal and natural gas. This substance is also utilized for the manufacturing of paper and paper products, wood and wood products and also in mineral products. TEPA is used in electrical, in electronic and optical equipment and also for machinery and vehicles.
