Solubility

Not very soluble in cold water, but more soluble in hot water.

Uses

Molybdenum trioxide is used as a catalyst for desulphurisation reactions and as raw material for production of pigments in the ceramic industry and for the production of frits

Classification

Manganese trioxide may cause serious damage to the health after prolonged exposure by inhalation and swallowing; manganese trioxide is irritating to eyes and the respiratory system.
